Pada taraf yang lebih serius, anemia berkepanjangan selama kehamilan bisa menjadi penyebab bayi lahir prematur atau depresi pada ibu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asupan zat besi yang direkomendasikan pada ibu hamil setidaknya 27 mg per hari.
